By integrating and capitalizing on the positive features of two proven treatment methods, the continuous flow activated sludge process has been effectively combined with Sequencing Batch Reactor technology to yield the MSBR process.

This is accomplished by unique process design and flow control systems that interconnect reactor zones which has been engineered and designed to achieve desired levels of treatment.
